        From what I remember the scoreboard was going to be a big screen one and during summer movies would be shown at night.
        Like other councils do and you sit on the grass.

            They had a movie in every other park in West Footscray and Yarraville over Christmas.
            They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

                Yeah but I believe WO is meant to be the major ground the council uses, maybe that's why they had them in every park over Christmas .. Somewhere the money was to big to put up this year. Remember it's not owned by the bulldogs, council decides, could be the council decided they would do lights instead or as councils do back out at the last minute.

                    If its council funded or half half or whatever money was the problem, council might have withdrawn their share and said next year.
                    I'm speculating but in the end lights were more important.
