Thanks. Confirms Goodes is a good VFL player.

Interesting no Talia, Jones or Cordy in the top ten.

Just as interesting Wallis, Bontempelli and Smith are clearly a step above VFL level by playing limited VFL games.

TC third in the league and 7th in the club. Interesting.

Maybe on the surface, but it is actually not all that unusual. 6 absolute BOG's and you can snag a comp B&F, but you couldn't get near a club B&F with that. Club B&F voting systems tend to reward consistency in that a player can still poll by being the 10th or even 20th best player on the ground. Therefore missing half a dozen games will sting a player more in the club B&F than in the comp B&F.

Chris Grant topped the Brownlow voting in '97, yet Scott West topped him in the club B&F. Same with Hardie and Hawkins in '85. Ablett could win the Brownlow this year but can't possibly win GC's B&F.

The surprising one for me is Cordy not polling all that well. Perhaps I'm only remembering his last two months, but I thought he had. Better year than that.

Mitch Wallis finishes top ten in B&F in the seniors and the reserves in the same year. I can't recall that happening before.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
