Seems this is the only other much watched game on this forum without voting. So...

4. Lin Jong - Outstanding, his month shoved humble pie so far down my throat I've got heart burn. Campbell looked for him with every tap in the last quarter and was by far and and away my BOG.
3. Liam Jones - Took some key marks, kicked key goals. The KPF a premiership team needs to deliver.
2. Brett Goodes - So good at this level, I love what he can do.
1. Tom Campbell - looking forward to the next near decade from Tom, he's a thinking ruckman with where he wants the ball to go to.

4 Goodes - deserving winner of the Norm Goss medal.
3 Jong was terrific the way he just runs through stoppages. His combination with Goodes was superb.
2 Johannisen - just gave run and carry consistently.
1 Campbell - dominant in the ruck.

3. Jong.....this bloke's improvement has tracked better than anyomne else on our list. Powerful and quick, he was outstanding.
2. Goodes....BOG in the firsty half when we needed someone to get us into the game

Apologies to Talia who was far and away our best defender. How about that saving mark in the last quarter?

Further to that, when have we ever seen Jones take a saving mark on the goal line? Then worked back up the other end. Magnificent.

4) Goodes. Deserving winner. Won plenty of the ball and looked ready to kill people with the attack on the ball carrier.
3) Jong. Was stiff. Some of the dashes from clearances were Judd-like.
2) Jones. Worked hard was and calm and collected in the last when the game was red hot. His second goal in the last, from 50, was the sealer for mine.
1) JJ. Loved his run and carry out of defence and used the ball very well, which has been my big knock on him. No complaints.

Talia and Austin were both unlucky to miss out. Very solid in defence.

2. Jong Toss a coin on Goodes and Jong both worked so well together. Goodes gets the nod because he took some pretty hard hits and was pretty beat up by the 2nd half.
1. Jones. Finished off the great work from the midfield.

The Popular Four being Jong, Goodes, JJ and Jones in any order is ok with me.

Goodes' attack on the man and the ball was ferocious for 100 minutes. Can't really argue with the decision to award him the The Norm Goss Medal.
Jong would also have been a worthy winner but Goodes' silky polish is probably the reason the commentators favoured him. Jong's final series has been nothing short of brilliant. Just a beast in the clearances. I think this kid has something we can build on.
JJ's run and willingness to link up between defense and forward was great all day.
Jones' work ethic yesterday was impressive. I still hold a glimmer of hope that Liam can take that next step consistently, he has shown he can play at AFL level, hopefully yesterday's performance proves to himself that if he puts in the hard work he will be rewarded.
