When i posted this thread it was more in reference to the tempo and the gusto with which it was sung. Unfortunately, the Mike Brady inspired version is about as limp and uninspiring as any current theme song.

Yes agreed on that. I hated the Mike Brady version.

Is there a rule about not being able to ever change to a brand new song? I'm open to a search for a new one based on any of Paul Lekakis hits.

Boom, boom, boom, come back to my room would be my favourite.

Could be a chant like "yellow and black". "Coming back to my room", being the change room to sing it (the winning song) all night. Best song in this thread yet.

Staying on the late 80's Euro techno theme, maybe we can re-word 'Boys' by Sabrina as follows:

Dogs Dogs Dogs, are looking for a good time
Dogs Dogs Dogs, are waiting for the cup

I think we should change our theme song to the Macarena....with different lyrics obviously. Imagine them singing it in the rooms after a great win...dance moves included. An alternative could be to base our song on the Hokey Pokey.
