    Re: Footscray Bulldogs Fixture 2015

Went through both VFL and AFL fixtures to find how many double headers we could attend this year. Was a great day doing the doubles last year!

Sunday April 26 - VFL Round 2, AFL Round 4
    Footscray v Casey 12:00pm @ WO
    Bulldogs v Adelaide 4:40pm @ Etihad

Sunday 24 May - VFL Round 6, AFL Round 8
    Footscray v North Ballarat 11:00am @ WO
    Bulldogs v Melbourne 3:20pm @ MCG

Saturday 20 June - VFL Round 7, AFL Round 9
Footscray v Richmond 12:00pm @ ME Bank Centre
    Bulldogs v Brisbane 7:20pm @ Etihad

Saturday 27 June - VFL Round 11, AFL Round 13
Footscray v Sandringham 2:00pm @ Trevor Barker Oval
    Bulldogs v St.Kilda 7:20pm @ Etihad

Saturday 4 July - VFL Round 12, AFL Round 14
    Footscray v Northern Blues 2:00pm @ WO
    Bulldogs v Carlton 7:20pm @ Etihad

Sunday 2 August - VFL Round 16, AFL Round 18
    Footscray v Essendon 11:00am @ WO
    Bulldogs v Essendon 3:20pm @ Etihad

Our lack of Sunday twlight AFL games this year has hurt our double header cause..
4 games throughout the year doing the WO/Etihad double header.
Couple of pretty big gaps between the Saturday/Saturday night games. But still doable!

Shame these games can't be double headers at Eithad.

We also have the double header at Geelong.

You could just about walk to Etihad from WO and still be there in plenty of time for the Carlton Game.

Thanks for that, ahh damn the doubleheaders aren't as good this year. Don't mind the early VFL game, late AFL game though. Head to WO watch Footscray, check out a few local pubs and sink some serious beers before making your way to the AFL for a night game (Which we have no way near enough of!)

Not as many double headers is a good idea.
Pretty difficult to spend so long at the footy.

The VFL game in Bendigo was massive this year. Stoked the boys are coming up the Calder again.

My priority is still the Western Bulldogs AFL but will see if I can make a few VFL matches this year. Certainly will be interested to go if we play a home final at Whitten Oval. Didn't go to that last year. Heard the atmosphere for that game against Willy was great.

These days the VFL/AFL double header would be easier all at Etihad like back on the WO days with the reserves and seniors. You didn't have to go to another ground.
