Mitchell's widow later sent the Goodies a letter thanking them for making his final moments so pleasant”.
I remember reading it when I was a kid.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I'm convinced you were never a kid. I think you were born a quasi late middle aged curmudgeon with an immense wealth of knowledge and an anecdote for everything. You're like the Sage of WOOF.

Sage? Me? Strange maybe, in a psychotic sort of way!

Completely heartbroken. Growing up Tim was my comedy idol and almost all of my school drama exams and performances was based on his character in The Goodies. The Goodies are timeless and Tim will forever live on through these episodes. Way ahead of their time. I’m so glad I made it to Melbourne in 2005 to see Tim, Graeme and Bill live on stage. I’ll never forget it. RIP Tim
I will never see #16 the same!!

I remember those job interviews. You'd wander in and three people (It was always three so they could get the gender balance right) with no idea of IR or HR but who's confidence in their own ability was limitless would ask you a bunch of stupid questions that had nothing to do with anything.

You'd walk out with contempt written all over you.
