Giving up footy, thus this forum

I’ve been thinking how much I enjoyed my year off footy last year. Also thinking of personal time in a post Covid world and what I want in it as strong interests. I have two speeds, a 110% or nothing at all. I don’t enjoy the overall mix with footy as a constant 110% overriding thought I’ve recently decided. So I canceled my awesome Kayo deal 6 months early and ended my long unbroken membership to the club and unsubscribed from all marketing. I want to do other things and concentrate on other things and the passion has gone completely. So with no other interests shared on here I’ve decided that even lurking is pointless and before leaving I wanted to post one last time to thank all the admin and posters that make this a great place to the bulldog faithful. I wish you well as im going to log out now, and not to return, and as I won’t see any responses I will just awesome everyone is in tears or like the intergalactic celebration at the end of StarWars VI. I wish you all the very best.

… Yes with the talent being amassed it’s a weird time especially since paying money towards the Rhode years. But the passion is gone and my attention has moved on. Someone take my spot fighting for Josh Schache with the few others.

… My health is fine. I just want to do other things and nearly 20 years of online connection with a fair few on here deserves a thank you from me, as well wishes all round. Have a good Christmas & New Year and a much better 2022.

Love ya mate. I know you'll see this because you won't be able to resist a sneak peek.

We'll miss you and hope you return, but otherwise take care and have fun.

What a sad day. Will never forget you helping me get a ticket and I'm honoured to have spent part of that day with you.

You'll be missed but I understand. All the best for the future mate.

No doubt BT's done a lot of introspective thinking to get to this point. It wouldn't be done on a whim.
All the very best to him, his knowledge and insight will be missed.

I'm going to miss your original thoughts and deep, deep knowledge of the game, the draft and outside the box trading ideas. The site won't be the same without you but you do what you need to do.

Good luck mate and thanks for all the fish.

I have certainly valued the contribution from BT.

I often struggle from a time perspective, but having BT has added a depth of understanding I could not get near otherwise.

              Good Luck.

I know we’ve lost players and coaches before, but losing BT as our list manager??? How will I cope?? All the best BT, your contribution to this forum has been absolutely incredible. But in this time-poor society we currently live in, I totally understand your decision.
