Too kind. It’s amazing how much time I found for things when not freaking out every Thursday 6.30pm and so on.

I’ve been reading some threads. I might have missed a year. But don’t feel I’ve missed a beat. Did much change this year?

Honestly, it was the median season you'd expect from the last 3 years. Pretty much 2020 but with less Covid (protocols. More Covid overall). Hell it's even ending with Dunkley asking for a trade

I guess if history is rhyming we get a talented draftee in the first round, a mature KPD & KPF. After Power extracted full value out of Brisbane at the trade table (the year before).

                Half full…

But how has Bevo not progressed the talent he has? Did goal kicking improve at least with a decent forward coach?

                  Very well my old friend.

                  So… rebuild or trade?

The last coach to say re-build got sacked (Eade).

We don't need a rebuild, we need to make sure the future is also looked after.

Looking at Axeman’s contract thread, JJ and Zaine potential FA’s. Take the compo and run for the future then?

Assuming they have clubs to go to?

                        Welcome back BT.

You didn't miss much - a pretty poor year on many accounts.

Positives? Marra is on the improve, Darcy looks the goods, Melbourne straight sets exit.

Is Darcy a KPD or KPF?

Melbourne straight sets isn’t much consolation, but I’ll take it.

But looks like we may play him as a defender to begin with given a potential logjam of key forwards (i.e. Naughton, Marra, Bruce, Lobb - maybe).

It was that kind of year. Basking in other club's failures.

Ta Mike. Yep, lockdown had to good for something, getting fit. Back down to my old fighting weight. Even picked up new hobbies without footy in the way too. But this trade period, could get me back in. If there’s a net talent and improvement in the list, I don’t see how there shouldn’t be material improvement.

I take it you were at both the last finals. Any positive takeaways for me?
