You've gotta expand on that. (VERY MINOR SPOILERS LOOK AWAY BORNADOG SERIOUSLY DON'T LOOK AT THIS BIT, NOW SCROLL DOWN AND BE A GOOD BOY) It's not like something had to happen and if you'd watched the whole series you'd be used to the anticlimax by that point.

Personally (no spoilers) I thought it was obvious that the ending was deliberately meant to be ambiguous and that we're meant to form our own opinion about what happened (David Chase confirmed as much). I don't believe that anything happened in that restaurant because there's no real reason for anything to happen plot-wise, it's just that we were made to think something would happen.

I was in the States when the finale aired.
A media meltdown occurred with the backlash of disappointment.
It was quite comical, some people need to get a life and realise it was just a TV show.

I didn't realise till last night that season 6 has 21 episodes and the others have 13. I still have a way to go.
