What sorts of memorabilia did you have, and what do you still have today?
I had alot of the 70's stuff that i tracked down thru traders during the late 80's. Had 2 Paul guitars that i sold as well as autographed albums. Also sold 4 gold album awards, as well as alot of bitsy pieces.

Have alot of the "reunion" merchandise now like the love gun teddy bears, Halloween masks, gold and silver coins, dolls etc etc...alot of the psycho circus memorabilia....too much to really list.

Never had the pinball machine which wouldve been cool. I have a Paul Stanley Silvertone guitar while my bro has an Ace Frehley signature guitar. The original mego dolls are cool. Wish i had them in the original boxes but not to be.
I will never see #16 the same!!

So it's fair to say that you were a hardcore collector of everything Kiss.

I remember playing the Kiss pinny when the pub used to be down on the corner of the Strand in Newport, and i believe you can purchase it today from various outlets for a measily 20 grand..

yep, the pinball machine in GREAT condition can fetch ALOT of money...even the 4 mego dolls in original boxes in MINT condition have fetched for over $2,000 US, and to think in 1978 they wouldve cost about $5.99 each

Its always cool to chat to other fans of the band. I get constantly bagged at work about them, and being a dogs fan as well, i've been brought up with broad shoulders haha.

There are a few of the dolls in a small store in Frankston, and Paul guitar selling for around the $250 mark, as well as gold records, cards etc, another second hand record store has a few block mounted posters we well as gold framed records, not too sure how original they all are, but always cool to see.

Nah, wouldn't worry about nuffs bagging Kiss, being a fan of the HOTTEST band in the world - KISS as well as the BIGGEST band in the world - U2, i'm used to cop a bit, but, they are usualy pretty easy to take down!!!..

Haha very well said dude....yep all the nay sayers are certainly missing out on something very cool. I will be a KISS fan til the day i die and will forever fly the flag of the HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!!

I know a guy that lives in Tassie that told me if he sold his KISS collection he could buy a house I havent seen it all, only bits and pieces, but the latest item he brought was original boots from the reunion tour of pauls, direct from Pauls boot maker. He refused to tell me how much they cost
I will never see #16 the same!!

Only a few days until the release of KISS's new cd SONIC BOOM!!! Back to their heyday of the 70's. Produced by Paul Stanley...no outside writers or musicians...recorded in analog. Reviews are very promising, and hopefully an OZ tour will be announced next.

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Kiss Alive 1 started it all for me and still rate it as their best even though it's a live compilation of their first 3. She and Watchin You would be my faves but also love Parasite, Rock Bottom and Cold Gin. Was my first LP purchased with ACDC's TNT in around ~76. In fact come to think of it my first ever concert was to see Kiss out at Waverley back in 1980. Peter Criss had not long left the band which was a downer, with Eric Carr making that tour.

Dynasty less so, Unmasked moreso onwards lost my love for them for awhile but still enjoy listening to those brilliant early Kiss tunes and are still right up there for me.
