Can't get into modern family.

I feel as though the main guy Phil's character is based too much on David Brent from the office.
There is only one David Brent.

Personally I think Phil's more Michael Scott that David Brent (even if they're supposed to be the same character)

Modern Family seems alright but I prefer 'Always Sunny in Philadelphia' and 'Curb your Enthusiasm'. Entourage is good and haven't seen Community.

Any show where Charlie Sheen's Dad is the President of the USA needs a down grade in hindsight.

The Wire is so consistently brilliant across 5 seasons it is beyond compare.
Agree Breaking Bad is brilliant.
Also throw Dexter into the mix, with the exception of Series 3 which was a little disappointing after an awesome Series 2.

What did you think of Season 4? I thought John Lithgow was great as the Trinity Killer.

What did you think of Season 4? I thought John Lithgow was great as the Trinity Killer.

Have only seen about the first 6 episodes.
Certainly brought back the unpredictable and creepy element of the first two series.
I think Lithgow won the Emmy for the role

My source for the episodes was at my last job, so I'm going to need to wait until it's on sale in Oz or buy over the internet.

Great ending few things to think about going into the next season, without spoiling 'Did he do it?'

Breaking Bad is very good - the wifey downloads about 100GB/ month of TV shows so we have an excellent collection - you name we have it!

Me too, it's like I have been waiting patiently for torrents and downloading all my life and now it's here I am going hell for leather. I seem to get addicted to one particular show and then watch it relentlessly. ATM I am methodically working my way through QI the panel show with Stephen Fry.

How does Breaking Bad compare to The Shield?

The Wire is genuinely not a "cop show". It has so many more layers. I would call it a human drama based around the drug dealing scene of Baltimore

I have tipped half a dozen people into including my parents who are in their late 60's and always said it takes a few episodes to get into the swing of it. Not one has failed to get to the end of Series 5 and absolutely loved it.

If you watched 5 episodes and then bailed, it's obviously not your cup of tea, but definitely give it that much of a chance.

Dexter season 5 begins Sept 28th in the U.S...the new trailer looks very cool.
Just finishing up with "Dollhouse" now.

Have watched "Harper's Island" which was awesome and atm am getting the collection together of "Warehouse 13 S2", "Persons unknown", "The 4400", "Modern family" "Haven" and "The Gates".

Yep i have alot of download time on my hands
