I read an article yesterday that said 14 of the 51 wrestlers in Wrestemania 7 are now dead.

From another event, I can't recall which, it was 10 of 33. I dont't know if there was any overlap.

Wrestling is a demanding mistress. Scary stuff.

There would certainly be overlap but the stat is frightening.
At least with Macho it isn't the usual "found in a motel room with a cocktail of drugs on the dresser", which is not to say his heart attack isn't linked to use of PED's.

More frightening is that Scott Hall and Jake Roberts are still alive

Scary? not really when you look at they are all on something, we know what drugs do to people mentally and physically thses blokes are full on , not unexpected or scary at all.

The movie the wrestler gives a good idea and I think thats toned down on the drug use.

Is Miss Elizabeth dead too?

EDIT: Just googled and see that she died of a drug/alcohol overdose at the home she shared with Lex Luger. Very sad.

Yep, sad indeed... many of the greats of my childhood/teenage years have passed away.

If you go to YouTube and check out Scott Hall's recent videos I reckon he just pips Jake Roberts. He is being helped into the ring to wrestle "while completely off the planet".He is a major, major mess.
