I do agree with the posts questioning no Pryor, if you asked the actors in your poll, Richard would be their god.Comment

Re: Favourite 80's Comedian in Movies
Currently watching Trading Places on TV now. Might be personal preferences, but this nucleus of comedians and writers shites on today's stuff. It takes some inspiration not seen lately in Turning the whole heredity vs environment debate, interwoven with the race issues the states were going through into a movie with a rude African American stand up-come actor and Dan Ackroyd and co, plus JLC
This movie doesn't get old for me, so many funny lines. I'm laughing constantly still.Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment

Re: Favourite 80's Comedian in Movies
I was reading a history and also wiki of SNL (Saturday Night Live). I had limited understanding of the history so I was surprised that virtually every name I mentioned was from SNL. Fascinating reading, made me wonder why when we do it (use a group of close comics) in Australian movies we miss more than we hit, see 'the nugget'. Worth a read when you get bored.Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment
