My favourite movie of all time.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

It would require a lot of thought. But the UK would surely throw in a few, Cleese, Atkinson, Mayall. etc.
I do agree with the posts questioning no Pryor, if you asked the actors in your poll, Richard would be their god.

In a wierd definition of irony, it wasn't until I watched Groundhog Day for about the third time that I really enjoyed It

Currently watching Trading Places on TV now. Might be personal preferences, but this nucleus of comedians and writers shites on today's stuff. It takes some inspiration not seen lately in Turning the whole heredity vs environment debate, interwoven with the race issues the states were going through into a movie with a rude African American stand up-come actor and Dan Ackroyd and co, plus JLC

This movie doesn't get old for me, so many funny lines. I'm laughing constantly still.

Re: Favourite 80's Comedian in Movies

I was reading a history and also wiki of SNL (Saturday Night Live). I had limited understanding of the history so I was surprised that virtually every name I mentioned was from SNL. Fascinating reading, made me wonder why when we do it (use a group of close comics) in Australian movies we miss more than we hit, see 'the nugget'. Worth a read when you get bored.
