It's been great since day one. Also enjoying what I've seen of Charlie Pickering's show on ABC. Much like last week tonight with a few regular correspondents which gives it a dash of the Daily Show.

Couldnt warm to CPs new show. I think he's been talking on the project for so long the way he talks conversationally isn't as funny of a delivery style compared to the good U.S. Acts. Although I'd love an Australian Colbert one day.

I think he tries to present seriously as a newsman rather than a comedian, like Colbert but without the faux persona.

The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore is worth checking out. Like Colbert, Larry is a Daily Show regular who has spun his role into a similar style spin off show. Seriously smart and funny guy.

Yep. As you pointed out earlier the Ed Snowden interview was amazing.
I think LWT with John Oliver takes this type of TV to a new level in that it presents as funny, witty and satirical, but also engages with the audience to take action utilising modern communication tools. His campaign for net neutrality springs to mind where he mobilised his viewers to send emails to the senate committee played a crucial role in stopping a proposed bill to create a two tiered internet from proceeding.

I am seriously going to miss Jon Stewart though.

                This finale is pretty awesome.

If you get bored at work, Jon Oliver's segment on sex education was scary, followed by very amusing. He's got some serious pulling power to other Hollywood people staring in his fun.

Must watch Jon Oliver from this week. He set up a church in a 7 month operation. Scary and hilarious at the same time.

His church 'Our Lady of Perpetual Exemption' got a bucket load of mail and cash. Hilarious, Colbert like project!!

I just watched YouTube, with John Stewart last night taking over Colbert's show for 10 minutes ripping into Trump, Fox and their hangers on. Epic and classic John Stewart from his absolute top shelf from the peak of his game. Now to see Fox & Friends rip into Colbert and NBC for making a classic show political and how Letterman would never have done it.

It would be funny if they did since Fallon is the NBC guy
