Yeah there's a reason it's come around so soon. Don't really care though because the Test match starts tonight. While I agree about killing the Golden Goose, one four year cycle with three ashes tours in a lifetime won't kill us.

Indeed! I'm very excited...but also annoyed that I didn't plan a work trip better - as I'll be in the air coming back from Adelaide during the first half hour, and by the time I land and get home, I'll have missed half of the first session. Spewing, as the first session of an Ashes series is invariably a belter and a scene-setter!
