They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

And burns a review, like usual.

Shocking by the selectors but is anyone surprised?

      Nope.

Is it normal for every Australian batsman so far to have scored more than half of the runs made through boundaries?

It's seems our players don't have the skills or the patience to graft an innings and control the strike.

            T20 syndrome.

I'm not so sure. Most of our players just don't have great techniques.

Questionable technique is one thing, but can be overcome with attitude and patience. Graft, in other words. Graft has been killed off by T20.

Modern Test cricketers have been corrupted by the short form of the game.

We are going to have to bowl exceptionally well in the 2nd innings.

I think when you have a limited range of shots the 'stand and deliver' approach becomes the easy option except for guys like Rogers who works within his limitations.
While I'm sure that T20 has contributed to some poor batting choices I still don't believe it's just the exposure to T20. Warner has proven that his technique can translate to any form of the game but we have an older team and their techniques will get exposed more against good bowlers with conditions that suit them.

It's no coincidence that guys like Rogers look more comfortable in conditions he plays in regularly .
Players need to play county cricket to become comfortable in those conditions, and they mainly don't now.
This will just keep on happening

Bowling much better in the second innings. Better length and far more consistent line.
