    Re: Matador Cup 2015/16

Jon Holland is having a good series - 9 wickets @ 13 so far. I also saw some stats that suggested he has been by far the best performed domestic one day spinner over the past few years. Deserves to come into calculations for the Aussie one day team.

    Edit - found the stats:
Most Matador Cup wickets by a spinner in last 5 series
    1. Jon Holland 41 wickets @ 23.8
    2. Botha 23 @ 31.8
    3. Zampa 22 @ 33.5
    4. Doherty 20 @ 39.8
    5. Lyon 18 @ 49.5

Just saw Khawaja's fielding. I don't know how we could hide him in the Australian side. He is very poor.

It's no longer an option to be a poor fieldsman in international cricket. It will cost Khawaja his international career.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I know your standards towards fielding but do you think the Australia selectors see it that way?

That's why I'm keen for Bancroft to play. His work at short leg is superior to anything we have seen since Katich retired in fact he is probably ahead of him.

We then need to find new slips fieldsman.

I'm not sure Burns is good in the field but he is probably a lot better than Khawaja.

8 Down now, Hastings cameo comes to an end.

Just watching NSW bat, Henriques should be in our National side in some forms of the game.

Another ton for Smith. Watching him and Starc just play sublime cricket to their absolute ability is great.

This is the beauty of sport. He looks like taking a wicket every ball. I was actually excited to see him in the team today, it's great watching.
