The rain started about 4am today and it's been coming down in consistent bursts. I know the MCG have covers and the super soaker but it will need to stop raining soon to get this game started on time.

Would Ireland, Afghanistan or Zimbabwe been any worse so far these two tests? I think not, yet they don't get premium touring opportunities. I really don't like T20, but I'm looking forward to this finishing for the day and watching something even theoretically more even.

I went, but only out of habit. Seeing security throw hundreds of people out at a time for petty reasons when the crowd was desperate for some entertainment only confirmed cricket will be dead soon.

Cricket administrators are trying to kill cricket faster than the AFL, which is some feat.

Should be a law that if your picked in the test team and refuse to play you can't play 20/20.
It's a disgrace and destroying some cricket nations.
Players should be wanting to play test cricket it's the ultimate but money in India has destroyed it.
