Agar ahead of Boyce seems wrong to me.

Is Lyon being omitted from this squad a surprise? I don't really follow T20 closely but assuming both Agar and Zampa are better bats than Lyon, hence they were chosen ahead of him.

They've gone with Agar for his lower order hitting I assume. Michael Beer is one they should have considered strongly if they wanted a genuine spin option

He's a genuine no-spinning spinner. That's not a criticism by the way - Jadeja from India is the best no-spinning spinner going around. Players play for his turn that isn't there and he picks up loads of wickets, especially on home decks.

I love that our selectors stick fat with players and don't chop and change.. It's a great quality

Fair enough Wade getting the chop, but Nevill just doesn't strike me as a 20/20 batsman, surely Paine would have been a better option? I understand they have gone for the best glovesman, but is there really much between Nevill and Paine behind the stumps? Paine has a clear advantage with the bat in this form of the game.

Don't really understand the Agar inclusion, how many all rounders do they need in the team? Watson, Mitch Marsh, Maxwell and Faulkner seem like enough. Then there is Hastings and Coulter-Nile who are at least handy with the bat.

              Otherwise the squad seems reasonable.

Agar is a horrible selection. Crap bowler and average batsmen. Another Batsmen should have been included.

I think the problem with the Paine selection/non-selection is that they would see Paine as an opener in the short formats - and at this point there is already 4 potential openers in the squad (Warner, Finch, Watson, Khawaja).

                    When is it?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

In March. Australia's first game is the 17th.

Typical. I've got a big job induction sort of thing all day on that date. They probably aren't planning on taking a couple of hours break to watch the cricket.

Will be played in the Indian evening, which would be very late night/early morning here, so you should be right as long as you've got the energy to stay up.

The morning before or after? Turning up with more red than white showing in my eyeballs might be a bit of an own goal.
