    Re: World T20 Squad - 2016

Just saw Australia is playing a T20 match in South Africa tonight. The international cricket schedule is pretty crazy these days. So many games, so little meaning.

It's a 3 match warmup for the world cup, which they need seeing as they have only played 8 T20 Internationals since the last word cup!

We're into our first game, Kiwis batting first and are 0/33 after 3.3 overs. Guptill just took to Agar in his first over

Yes, we bowled well to wrestle back control after the NZ openers looked set to put it out of our reach.

Our batting was poor, besides Uzzy who hasn't missed a beat.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

RSA and ENG had a very interesting game, huge scores and England losing three wickets with just a couple of runs to win.

The batting was terrible. Frustrating to watch a team crumble like that.

I keep hearing the reason why Australian batsmen's techniques have deteriorated so much in recent years is due to their focus on T20 cricket. Which makes me ask the question, if that's true then when is Australia going to produce a T20 team that's even marginally competitive? They're 8th in the world and dead last amongst the amongst the established cricket nations. A win is so rare it's worth celebrating.

Kohli really is something else in this form of the game - with a fairly classical stroke players technique too. He did it again last night against Pakistan

I haven't seen or heard what he did but you are the fifth person I have heard reference how impressive he was.

                      What did he do?
More of an In Bruges guy?

Led home a very sticky chase with a composed 50 on a raging turner against Pakistan. He now averages 54 in from 40 T20 internationals

The best T20 player in the game now.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Our batsmen have really been a flop except Usi. Watson should be either dropped or change spots with Warner. Once more he lets us down on the big stage, although his bowling hasn't been too bad.
