Gurvinder Sandhu should have been in the squad from a horse for courses perspective. His pace bowling is good enough and his off-spin was much improved last summer - these types who bowl pace and spin in the Funky Miller vein are worth their weight in gold on the sub-continent.

Why rush Zampa over and not play him .. Give him experience , Holland isn't the future.

Lost an ODI overnight. Tour turning into a trainwreck. Leadership needed. Steve Smith says he's going home early because he needs a rest. Hmmm.

3 tests, early finishes , he definitely didn't get tired batting

Odd decision. Would've made more sense to just pull him from the ODIs as a whole if we obviously don't see them as important

Something seems very fishy at the moment, needs leadership and the supposed leader goes home , then making a guy captain who can't play a straight bat for an over without wanting to smack a ball over the fence.
It's like bowling a bouncer to a base baller , the same as bowling spin to Warner .. No idea how to handle it and you want him to lead the way ?

Nice series win in the end. Good leadership coming from George Bailey.

Didn't see Ledge posting in this thread for a week, so I assumed Australia must be winning.

Checked the scores and sure enough...

I liked what Travis Head displayed. Very busy lower down the order

How do you rate his part time bowling? Could he be a 5th bowler in the right conditions?

Needs a lot of work, he bowls himself a lot as captain but I don't see many weapons to it. I'd consider Steve Smith a better option
