While we lacked one more sold centre we got a lot wrong with our selections of the final squad and thats on Goorgian. At least 2 players in the squad were not selected on merit

No Thybulle was a mockery. Goorjian should have been sacked there and then. And I personally would have taken Goulding, come at me.

I would have taken DJV instead of Goulding because he can play at PG as well but Goulding would have been a better selection than Delly

The rumour was that Patty Mills intervened to have his besty Joe Ingles in the squad for overall team harmony.

With 12 players there are going to be guys that sit the majority of the tournament. They thought the best guy to sit and help coach, encourage, etc was Ingles. I don't think the 11th and 12th guys picked were the issue.

But - and hear me out here - what if the 11th or 12th guy are actually capable of giving you instant offence just when you need it even if only for a few minutes. I say better to take someone you know can give you something rather than a uniformed morale officer.

Though I agree with your point that wasn't the issue, it's still vexing to me.

Same. 'Cos if you need buckets, he can get buckets.

The last 15 minutes was like watching the ending of a movie you've seen before...and you didn't enjoy it the first time. Just that sense of impending doom...

You just knew, right? So depressing.

Also, how unbelievable is Jokic? Looks like he's barely trying or interested and posts 21/14/8/4 and wins them the game. He's the best.
