I think José will still be there next season even if they miss top 4 this season. They have invested a crazy amount of money in him, hes second behind only Pep for wages (on about 3 times as much as Conte) and just had a £90m toy for him to play with (whos looking not even worth half the price). They are going to be a bit more patient with him and so they should because if he can discover the fire in his belly they'll have a great manager.

I do worry that he doesnt have much fight left in him though.

Yes often when you always make it "us against the World" it is hard to go to multiple clubs and sing the same song.

Yep, its also why he has a short self life at each club as theres only so long the players will buy into it.

His spite and arrogance is fine when its getting results, but once those stop it comes across as bitter and twisted.
