An international side meeting the over rates. Wonders never cease. Great to see.

This begs the question why on earth it took so long to play Renshaw and Handscombe ?

Old: 8/370 at the end of day one.
New: 3/288 at the end of day one.

I much prefer this version. Batting like there's 5 days in a test match, valuing wickets, steady scoring, great platform to set up a win.

38 overs of spin on day 1 at the Gabba, wouldn't have had that before.

Well Renshaw is only 2nd year in First Class. Pretty hard to have picked him much earlier. Agree Handscombe should have been in earlier.

16th century from Smith, going along nicely.

Gee Handscomb looks impressive. Note some in the media have him earmarked as a future captain.

Seeing as Voges was averaging about 70...pretty hard to drop him any earlier than they did.

Barring an amazing drop in form or injury Smith at 27 will be in the job for a fair while.

Gee the Pakis are a bunch of camels out in the field. They have to create 15 chances to get 10 wickers.

That's generous, 15. 3 dropped catches and 1 caught behind not appealed for so far. Might need 18 or 20 chances to take them.
