I timed them. 38 seconds from the first to the last and then he sat another bloke on his arse. Stokes drinks angry grog.

Police are investigating, I'd be suprised if they don't charge him given his priors.

Of course the problem is that Britain send there convicts here anyway.

Seriously though it's a poor act but he will slide through OK.
The cops don't stand back and count the ones that miss, they notice the ones that connect. I agree though Stokes was punching at two or three different blokes (a couple may have not been there) standing in front of him at different stages and that's why he missed so many times.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

The bloke is out of control looking at that video.
Coward punch , lock him up , worst thing is he knows he has an anger problem and does nothing about it.
Be interesting to know his childhood background.
Where did the anger come from.

Hales & Stokes not coming to Australia, banned by ECB indefinitely.

Indefinitely could be until just before the ashes though. Or maybe he earns a reprieve if they lose the first test.

CNN U.K. bureau saying no to Ashes tour specifically. But they won't give a return date after that. Presumably to see what the police my or may not do.

I wonder what Hales part in it was ?
Out drinking his misdemeanour or was he involved in the violence as well ?

Stokes is a complete moron . Very ordinary England team that hopefully the Aussies beat up on . Lot of pie throwers and ordinary failed batsmen . Aussie quicks stay healthy , they'll have a field day .

I wouldn't say that at all, they have beaten everyone recently, I'm not sure where you see failed ordinary batsman , Root would be near on the best batsman in The world, I think he just broke the record for the most half centuries in a row.
Ali has turned into a very good all rounder, either making runs or taking wickets and just got man of the series.
Pie throwers ? I suggest you look up Andersons record.
If anything Australia has the failed ordinary batsmen, be a very interesting series indeed, Australia at home is a hard one but I wouldn't count them out at all.

Agree with Ledge that their best is very good but they're extremely reliant on Root, Bairstow and Stokes. Cook has been inconsistent for a few years now, Ballance hasn't improved on off stump and the rest are all pretty untested.

There's a real lack of depth to the batting.

Stokes also mocked a disabled person as a giggle and that was caught as well.
He might be a good cricketer but he has some issues to work on. I think he will come out and say he has an issue with the grog and look for sympathy.

England will be a good side even if Stokes doesn't tour. They will lift and it should be an enthralling series

No question on Root , Bairstow or Stokes. Ali will struggle here, as he doesn't play the short ball well, and I'd be shocked if his bowling has an impact, unless the Aussies are to aggressive. Balance has failed numerous times, and Anderson doesn't bowl quick enough to have an impact here. Just as the Aussies don't pay English conditions well, they don't play Australian conditions well .

I see it as if the ball swings it's England's if it doesn't it's Australia's and of course it's most likely the latter.
But if you were to pick which one is most likely to win away I would choose England.
Sadly a lot of test cricket is now won at the toss.
Do the Aussies play in England in the off season as much as they used to , because that's a huge advantage if so.

They've tightened up the overseas players in county cricket, but sadly with so much cricket going on not many play in england .

Yeah 20/20 so much money to be made instead of flogging yourself for 6 months in first grade cricket away from home when you can earn so much in a month and be home for the other 5 months.

Also much harder to get a visa if you aren't playing regular international cricket. I believe Mitch Marsh was denied a visa a few years back - and he's high profile compared to the average Shield player.
