Cook has been nicking more than Norman Gunston recently. Nice delivery but very poorly played. Should have gone forward to cover the movement - was too full to play back to.

Pitch looks pretty good for batting - not too many problems for the English since Cook departed.

Aleem Dar floating around this series. Put every dollar you have on England winning the series.

I didn't get to see any play this morning, but reports were of a dead wicket. I'm sick of dead wickets.
            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Curator says cooler weather over recent days hampered preparation, grass didn't come through. Reckons pitch will liven up day 2/3.

Hopefully just in time for us to collapse in our two innings, with Marsh top scoring with scores in the 30's in each.

Bit of a soda as well. They're never easy off the spinner but he should have swallowed it. His hands were like concrete.

Yep. As poor as Wade can be at times, I think he would've taken that.

Poor Lyon. He's the greatest of all time, and has had just as many dropped or missed stumpings.

Great nut by Cummings to get rid of Stoneman just before tea. Ball is reversing - first 30 minutes after tea will be good test cricket.

He keeps like the 6th best keeper in the country. He bats like the 8th.
