    We are cooked. Pun intended.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Cummins ended with 4 wickets. Bird was disappointing. Now to bat all day today and first session tomorrow. Need to make at least 100 per session to have any show.

I'm glad we got the Ashes are back and we aren't relying on winning this test or Sydney to win the series.

If it had rained the way they were concerned about in Perth and England got away with a draw then this series would be live all of a sudden. In a way a bit of me thinks it's a shame they didn't get a draw and the series isn't live but a much larger part of me thinks thank god!

Marsh out cheaply, England primed for a win

This is a good test for Mitch Marsh and Paine. It's the kind of situation you should reasonably expect your 6 and 7 to see you through to safety in.

We need Smith to make a century and either Mitch Marsh or Tim Paine to make a 50. If we can't manage to hold them out we deserve to lose

He looked shaky early on but is gutting it out. It's important that he goes on with it though.

Mitch and Smith must stay in.

If, a big If, we are 150 and there are 30 overs left, do we declare??

No I wouldn't, we have to settle for a draw.

Looks like only 37 overs left after tea.

Yeah agree. The draw the most likely outcome.
