Tony Jones being a cockhead may be a blessing for Novak, looks even more determined than usual.

Alex de Minaur draw at first glance looks ok. Should get through to the fourth round without much trouble.

Ben Shelton I think is a bit of a dark horse.

Coco Guaff will take the title in the womens side of things.
Guaff obviously couldn’t sustain her early season form. Looks like Swiatek is in the best form on the women’s side. All the talk is on Sabalenka but her form is scratchy.

Pretty happy with my Shelton dark horse prediction, now he is into the semis.

I have an inkling that Zverv will win the men’s which pains me to say as I cannot stand his off court behaviour.

Great call with Shelton. Gee he has had a charmed run hasn't he.

Alex has been disappointing tonight so far. Serving terribly. Sinner not doing anything special.

Went along today and saw Swiatek, then the Shelton game. Very entertaining 4 sets. Lorenzo let himself down with a couple of shots and should hsve won the tie breaker.

Not surprising the Alex cannot match Sinner. Still, gets the best out of himself 98% of the time.

Who do you think wins both titles from here?

Sinner wins it from here I think.

Picked Sabalenka at the start so will stick with her.

Watch very little tennis nowadays. Tuned in as I saw Swiatek had a match point in 3rd set. Not knowing either player I went for her (when I know nothing about players in any sport I usually barrack for non American player, unfair & stupid I know). Based upon bit I watched it looked like a cracker game. I dislike tie-breakers to decide matches immensely but understand why they decided to have them. They remind me of penalty shootouts.

The irony with your choice josie is that Swiatek has recently been cleared of a drug performance charge and obviously some debate on that decision and how was she able to play whilst under investigation. Similar scenario to Sinner.

Didn’t know that. And I just read she took a loo break after losing 2nd set that was controversially long. So I shoulda been barracking for Madison. Who does share first name with a song I quite like by US band Drugdealer, so there’s that too. Check it out if you like 70’s pop/soul influenced music. Madison is underdog so hope she performs well in final.

You should try and catch some of Ben Shelton's match today. He is an American but he is a young and brash 21-year-old who just fun to watch.

He is what we wanted Nick Kyrios to be - talented, fun, loves the game and does not give up.

Thx for tip. Kyrios his own worst enemy. His antics early in career turned me off.

Shelton not good enough tonight, so looks like 1 and 2 rankings to play for the title.
