They stupidly re-signed him for 3 years about a month ago. I don’t mind him but he’s not getting results. He’s had to juggle a lot of loss of quality and late incomings in the window, but he’s running out of chances.

Huge win by Man Utd as we beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield. Nice to win 2 games in a row.

Liverpool looking shaky at the minute. Arsenal win against Fulham to take advantage and are currently on top.

It is brutal for managers in the EPL. Just as it starts it can end so quickly. Much different to the AFL. Not getting a win in all comps certainly did not help Ange.

Wish him well with his next endeavor. I don't think it will be in the EPL but somewhere in Europe where he will manage again.

Marinakis is going to have sacked the most successful manager they’ve had in eons to end up with Sean Dyche. What a dickhead.

So am going to go out early and call it, but Spurs sacking Ange was a mistake. Thomas Frank is not that good. He is the classic small club manager. Keeps it competitive, wins enough to finsh mid-table, but doesn't have the tactical nouse to fashion a team into a winning quality team. The style Spurs are playing and have been playing most of the season is awful. Sure they have been defensively ok and have only lost 2 games, but they have had some lucky escapes that if they had gone the other way the record looks a lot worse.

Sure Spurs finished 17th last season, but they won the Europa League and made the semi-final of the league cup. They had a 3 month period where they had no fist choice centrebacks, they were on to their 3rd choice left back, barely had anyone to play up the field. The fact that kids like Mickey Moore, Bergvall, Archie Grey, Dane Scarlett, etc all got serious game time last season speaks volumes for the significant injuries Ange had to manage. Sure Spurs have injuries, Madders has done a knee and Solanke and Kulu are also out, but comparing this list to the list Ange had to manage last year is disingenious. Sure Ange wasn't perfect, but he took an injury riddled squad and beat Man U in a European final,. He did it playing an attacking style of football.

Thomas' Spurs will limp thorugh the season. Not win anything. Miss Champions League. But they will be stronger at the back.......FFS

Really enjoyed watching the Brentford v Liverpool game.
There were some scary moments at the end when Liverpool were pressing but a 3 - 2 win by Brentford was a surprise.

                          Not enjoyable at all G
Full marks to Brentford. Completely bullied us. And how about the guy doing the throw ins? They were like scud missiles. It was so obvious what he was doing and we were powerless to stop it. So frustrating from 16,000 k's away.
Needless to say, i had to disinfect my computer screen after full time.
