      Darling* was pretty handy at mid on/off and in close too. He was the stand out fielder of his generation although I'll concede that it was a very ordinary time for fielding standards.



      *Is it just me or has this thread taken a distinct Blackadder turn
      They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

        Lord Flashheart was a pretty handy fielder too but he kept sleeping with the other players wives.

          But he didn't need a box because he already had a codpiece so it's swings and roundabouts
