98 runs. Two wickets left. And they got them.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

They don't rate his technique , think that he's all hand/eye coordination, he has a reputation for being difficult in the dressing room (how deserved it is I don't know. I do know that it's worth being difficult occasionly, sometimes it's the only way to get stuff done) and that he had issues with maturity and the patience/mental aspect of his batting. His performances got him into the team but they won't be very patient if he fails again.

I don't know why they are batting Finch so far down the order. Fair enough they want to try the new guy but send Finch in at no. 3. I can't believe that whoever is making the decisions in the Australian team set up would think to drop a batsman so far down the order and expect him to just adapt to spinners at both ends rather than a new ball and fast bowling and field restrictions. That decision suggests a lack of tactical nous.
just to add, I reckon its an anti-victorian thing. Vics players never get a full go. Compare it to the patience for Marsh(s) and Ashton Agar.

What has Agar done to deserve a place in the team ? I would play Brad Hodge before him.

I can remember when I was just a little kid the man next door telling me that the selectors wouldn't pick Jimmy Higgs in the Australian side because Greg Chappell refused to bowl him when they did. It all came out after one test match when the wicket was taking spin but Chappell used Higgs really sparingly on a worn fifth day track. Afterwards said privately Chappell when asked about it "the selectors can select him but that doesn't mean that I have to let him bowl" I think that Chappell was having a tanty about the selectors not picking Terry Jenner.
