It's not like he received an exceptional delivery. Is he one of those players who is great at the shield level but just a bit short of talent for the test environment.

A few players are showing us they are not up to test level.

Think we're on the same page.

He was apparently making changes to his game when at Victoria, and did look to be batting differently in the Shield, but has come up to international level and it's gone out the window. He should've been given the time to cement those technical changes where the pressure is off at the lower level.

Send him back and let him rebuild. We get seduced by a few good scores and rush the guy back in, only for him to go back to where he's comfortable.

Pitch starting to play up - Hazlewood should be pretty dangerous when we get to bowling

A few on here were questioning Paine's place in the team but he's doing a great job for mine. He hasn't looked pretty at the crease but he sure battles hard and his keeping has been good from what I've seen. Also standing up to the petulant flog in Kohli without going overboard. He's no Gilchrist but if he can average 30-40 and keep to a high standard he should be safe in the short-medium term at least.

Amazing how often a positive comment leads to a dismissal, but Paine has done a terrific job to survive as long as he has and get the team to a winning position. Just need a few more runs from the remaining bats, but unfortunately Finch is another not up to the standard.

Good lead ( 286) but also gettable.

Great start by Starc. I don't understand why so many media folk jump into him. Yes he costs a bit more, but he's a weapon. If he gets to 100 tests he's on track to exceed 400 test wickets, under 30 average. That's a great career.

Huge wicket from Hazlewood. Pujara had the potential to really be patient.

I'd get Starc off and Cummins on straight away to Kohli. Target the stumps, let the pitch do its thing.

Kohl is completely out of control. I wonder if there will be any disciplinary action taken against him?

Actually I know whether or not any action will be taken against him and it will be the "or not" option.

This Kohli shit is nauseating. It's almost as partisan as the Indian coverage which is the most one sided in the world. The media in this country will worship anything not Australian, no matter how repugnant it is.

*!*!*!*! off you turd. 1 score above 50 in 10 innings.

Tim Lane, Whately, Craddock, and Haig will be in mourning.
