Big changes to the squad - Starc, Hazlewood and Cummins rested with Head, Lynn, Short and McDermott dumped.

We've completely stuffed up this four year World Cup cycle and in my mind, have no chance of winning the tournament that's only five months away.

The idea is that you use that time immediately after a World Cup to blood new players, find out who is worth investing in over that period and then gradually refine and solidify your starting XI in the 12 months beforehand. We spent the time cycling through players without any real consistency.

We're now only a few months away, making wholesale changes and have no idea what our best one day side looks like. This tournament's a write-off.

But maybe Siddle is the answer...

The selectors have got this wrong by not picking Darcy Short and Pat Cummins. Siddle, Shaun Marsh, Khawaja and Handscomb are curious selections and Iwe should have gone in another direction.

I think Finch is also a worry. He has not been consistent at all. Last 5 matches, 11, 41, 5, 22 and 100

I agree but think you can accept that a bit in ODI cricket and for what its worth there are a few less deserving than Finch in that squad.

Mitch Marsh is out with gastritis and Ashton Turner is in.

Turner is a good youngster, but again, was he ever/will he be in the thinking come World Cup time? We're a few months out and he hasn't even debuted yet. This isn't the time to be blooding players.

Why not a Callum Ferguson, a Tom Cooper or a Cam White who all made runs in the JLT and are experienced enough to make a difference come World Cup time?

Turner probably won't even play, but we're past the experimental window. The scatter-gun thinking of this selection panel is baffling to me.

We look to have a strong position in todays game but we look to be a bit weak on our 5th bowling option.
Richardson had an impressive opening spell that put India on the back foot.

Sharma 100, has been very good for India. I think we should win it from here, but need to keep the bowling tight

So who won? I don't bother watching 50 over cricket.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Despite the win and gjven the selectors probably won't mess with a winning team I'd be looking to make two changes.
I'd bring in Mitch Marsh for his brother Shaun and bat him at 7 and Stankake in for Siddle

I think we have to get Maxwell up the batting order and we lacked a bit of bowling depth

Finch fails again?? Needs to be looked at. How long can we be patient with him?

                            Who would captain the side?

He missed the ball by a fair margin which isn't a good sign

Bring in Darcy Short to partner Carey
I'm also not sold in Khawaja at the moment but I'll concede Shaun Marsh has proven me massively wrong.
