Grealish doing his best at scaring off the big clubs by acting like a twat(again) while he should be isolating. House parties and crashing cars arent a great move when hes chasing a payrise.

      Re: EPL Season 2019/20

For me the seasons done already, only the money hungry want it to continue over the health of people involved.

Give Pool the cup, they deserve it. No relegation, Brom and Leeds come up, no relegation and have 22 in the league next season.

Pool, City, Leicester and Chels get UCL football. The biggest issue for me is if Citys ban sticks after appeal as Sheffield United has a game in hand and is only 2 points behind Man United.

I seriously don't think it will be as simple as that. I agree that Liverpool have earned the trophy but there are a few clubs who won't let them be awarded the trophy without a legal challenge and I can't see how a legal challenge will fail because they are still those two games short of being champions.

        This will get messy.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

If the goverment declares a force majeure like what has happened in Belguim(they cancelled the league) then legal challenges go out the window.

I really dont see any clubs being petty enough to stand in the way of Pool getting the cup if the FA awards it rather than calling the league null and void. There are bigger worries tbh like relegations, promotions and UCL qualification. They are so much bigger issues than someone getting a cup.

I agree it's petty but it's what will happen. This season will be declared null and void.

Then why don’t they finish the season in some form, whenever they’re finally able to? Surely it’s more important to finish a season that’s 3/4 done, than start a season that doesn’t exist yet.

I dont see how or why a club could or would challenge the FA about Liverpool winning if they finish the season now. That is the least of any clubs concerns in realty. The issues that would get legal challenges would be promotion, relegation and European football qualification. Pool getting the cup is an afterthought to evertyhing else.

I hope its not null and void but it'll be a mess not matter what happens.

I guess players are coming out of contract on the 30th of June and the transfer window opens snd then things will get a bit messy.

We'll see Willian going from helping Chelsea to try to get Arsenal to catch Chelsea.

European football generally starts in August too.

That have a transfer market in the middle of the season, so it’s not like players changing teams is a big deal, although I’d suggest that if all leagues are able to work to similar timetables then some sort of extension to contracts could be worked out. But I’m just not sure why if everyone is freaking out about how champions/relegation etc are decided why you don’t work out some sort of schedule to finish the season. I’m not saying any of it will be easy, but it’s going to be a cluster*!*!*!*! one way or another.

We may not have football for another 3-6 months.

I guess there also comes a point when finishing the last season becomes less profitable than starting the new one. And we know money rules.

If city don’t get banned I disagree . Champions league is worth dollars and signings . If it’s classified as stiff shit for the top 4 then it is for the title .

I really think the only thing they can do is void it all. Would be extremely harsh on Liverpool but they haven't won the league yet.

Somebody is going to have to eat a shit sandwich and it's not going to taste good. And on outcomes over the last 30 years it looks like it's going to to be Liverpool in the diner's seat.
