Probably right. Although I think it was Ricky Ponting who pointed out the bowlers will be out there batting now, running and risking injury on an uneven pitch. So it's not much of a rest. Hopefully we declare or get out before we lose the new ball tonight.

It's worked out pretty well. Some quickfire runs contribute to a massive lead and now we have them 2 for 30.

Lyon, Labuschagne, Head and Wade will get through their overs quickly

Great win by the undermanned Australian side. Starc with 9 wickets and Man of the Match honors, Labuschagne scoring 193 runs

It will be interesting to see what sort of wicket we get at Melbourne

Also, Perth must be the best pitch in the world at the moment. Good pace and bounce the whole way through, runs in it for batsman that play well and spin coming later in the game.

It was 40 degrees every day which probably didn't help, although I assume after the first session it would have started to cool down a bit.
