Bad start for the women, with Meg Lanning and Perry failing, it was all over.

You get the feeling that Australia is wilting under the level of expectation of this tournament being on home soil. They can of course still win it but will need to start hitting their best form from now on

Healy has been in bad form and if she fails and then one of Lanning or Perry fail wears in trouble

Easy win against a lower team. Next up New Zealand, one of the stronger teams

Certainly helped by the Bangas inability to actually catch the ball. They dropped at least 4.

In the end you could see the apprehension in their eyes when the ball went toward them. They were almost saying "please don't come to me"
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Australia sent in to bat, and Healy gone for 9 in 3rd over

Australia 3/109 after 15 with Mooney on 54 and Perry has just come to the crease. We need to get a move on to make a decent score to defend.

Semi finals today, but with rain forecast, both could be washed out and India plus South Africa would advance to the final.

                            Semi 2: South Africa v Australia 7pm

Ridiculous that Friday couldn't be a reserve day with the final not until Sunday (at least they have a reserve day for the final).
