It's astonishing.

Unfortunately he has only won 3 of 9. But sheer consistency to reach the NBA finals that often is nuts.

If he can lead the Lakers to a win it adds another layer to the GOAT debate.

Heat were well on top early in 1st quarter before the Lakers stormed back to hit the front. Good start to the finals.

I love LBJ and I think if he wins another chip, it obviously elevates him to another level - but pound for pound I don't think he can match MJ and that killer instinct. Not sure anybody can or ever will.

The game has gone as well as could be for the lakers. They’ll take game 1 but the heat will fire back. No way the lakers continue to shoot like that from deep.

Incredible game from Jim Butt today. He’s the first guy to score more than 40 with no threes attempted in the finals since Shaq. One for the anti-analytics crowd at long last.

Caruso has been fantastic. What started off as basically a joke in the outside world has seen the guy morph into a reliable defensive player. Great story.

Also like the stories of Howard / doing it for Kobe.

Rondo was sensational when it mattered too.
