Day 3. Always go day 2 or 3. Usually go to a local picnic race meeting on boxing day but unfortunately they have cancelled it this year.

Just watching some T20 games. Hard to believe Hilton Cartwright is irrelevant from a Shield and Test perspective

What I like with England's set up is they seem to place a priority on making sure young talent is getting a chance. Pope, Lawrence, Bess, in this current 11. Its been a while since I've taken a keen interest into County cricket, but they must be doing something right, as they seem to be bringing talent to the top.
Not sure our 1st class system is doing as much as it can to nurture and build a competitive number of young prospects through... Batting wise we've got Pucovski and Green.... and not much else pushing for elevation...... bowling.... Richardson.......but where are the 19, 20, 21 year olds banging down the door?
Instead we've got Abbott ,and Neser who are rising 28 and 30...

And now CA has decided to shorten the remainder of Shield and Domestic OD comps...
But hey no problem interrupting the Test and Shield season to play 14 rounds of hit and giggles......
And we wonder why an effectively Indian 2nd XI was able to beat us on our home deck?

Amazing that we still have a fairly decent chance of making the World Test Championship. A close series plays into our hands.

What a farcical test, over inside 2 days. When Joe Root takes 5/8 you know something is wrong. They should be sanctioned for producing a pitch like that but it's India so they can do whatever they like.

28 out of 30 wickets to spinners in a day night test.

Maybe we should have beaten them when they had to chase the better part of 400 in a day here?
