Good start for Green. I like how unflappable he is, a few plays and misses doesn't stop him from playing his 4 scoring shots.

Is his batting good enough to consider him for an opening spot?

Solid start by both batsman and now that we have passed 300 without loss we should set our aims for a score of around 400

Our quick bowlers would be keen to get out there

It's a big ask to move a middle order batsman to the top of the order but he has a reasonable technique
Given his age and the fact that he bowls I think the number 6 spot is a good one for him
Perhaps in time a Jacques Kallis type number 4 batsman and some good overs

At 5 for 213 to score 350 plus looked a way off.
We haven't made the most of things but it could have easily been a score of under 300.

Starc and Lyons efforts with the bat have just given us some buffer
