David Bentley has completed his transfer from Blackburn to Tottenham. Goal keeper Paul Robinson has gone the other way.

Steed Malbranque, Pascal Chimbonda & Teemu Tainaio have all gone from Tottenham to Sunderland, whist El Hadji Diouf has also signed for the Black Cats from Bolton.

Manchester City have signed Tal Ben Haim from Chelsea.

We are a revolving door at the moment.

Expect another 2-3 pretty big signings for Spurs in the next week and a bit.

For those of you interested - Kaspar Gorkss (Kaspar who?) has finally signed with QPR. After a long saga the deal was finalised which included the transfer of Daniel Nardiello and Zesh Rehman to Blackpool.

For those that don't know Kaspar Gorkss is a Latvian international. He will be one of the key signings in an attempt to get QPR back to where they rightfully belong....in the Premier League.

            Liverpool of course

Hate to say it but with the Spurs signing all these guns I find it hard for us to hit up the top 4 again, unless we sign a quality winger. Our side will look like this with Silva for example:

            Reina-Keeper, Left back- Dossena, Centre backs- Carragher/Skrtel/Agger/Hyypia, Right back- Arbeloa/Degen, Defensive mids- Mascherano/Lucas/Alonso, RAM- Babel/Kuyt, CAM-Gerrard, LAM-Silva, Strikers-Torres/Keane

I'm not sure where we will fit Keane because he is no Fernando Torres, and with Rafa Benitez and his 4-2-3-1 formation, obviously only one striker. Unless he goes with him on the attacking right which he has hinted, but has had no experience there. Might even see the system change Also don't know where we will fit Kuyt in the first team therefore I can see him being a benchwarmer this year It's a shame because I'm a fan of him.

FWIW, I'm just happy Rafael Van Der Vaart will be with Hamburg for at least one more season. Bit of an insult by Real Madrid. Viva Die Bundesliga.

All these foreigners over the last ten years, think they need to drop off the English in English Premier League, call it the World Series Premier League.

Villa followed up by signing another full back, Young from boro. Two good signings by O'Neill, in areas we needed shoring up (pun not intended), along with Friedel Guzan and Sidwell, its not a bad haul, quality wise, since the end of last season. I do wish that MON would splash around a bit more of the money that Randy Lerner is apparently happy to put at his disposal though. Villa had the smallest squad in the EPL last season, and so far i think that we're still at a net loss since then.

You're a Villa fan? You wanting Gareth Barry stay with Villa or take the cash and go to Liverpool?
Honestly don't know where he would fit in our plans besides backing up Mascherano who's off to the olympics for a few weeks :S

Barry is a very good player, and he is very versatile, which is really important in a small squad like Villa's. Worth 18mill? Probably not, but we have no need to raise funds, hence the very hefty price tag. I'd be happy if Rafa doesn't meet the asking price, but if Barry does leave, i can live with it, so long as MON doesn't get shy about bringing more players in.

My dream of David Silva has been killed signed a new contract with Valencia. Better not sign Barry, Rafa!

Couple big signings overnight just to lighten up a boring transfer season.
-Robinho to Man City, bit of a shock
-Berbatov to Man Utd, which was always coming
                                -Quaresma to Inter
                                -Riera to Liverpool
                                -Voronin to Hertha
                                -Finnan to Espanyol
                                -Corluka to Tottenham

Another couple in my head which I'm failing to remember :S
