I don't get the Kane Richardson selection but the others make sense. It's a good squad.
I'm keen to see how Inglis performs because I rate him as a keeper and an innovative batsman.

Is anyone else surprised that Marnus isn't in the squad?

Pakistan are in fine form with two good wins knocking over both India and NZ in the vastly easier grouping.

West Indies already with 2 loses will make if hard for them to progress. Australia and England off to solid starts

Another solid win by the Australians. Powered by a quick 65 from Warner

Yep, Warner in particular looked impressive. I'm not sold on Finch as an international standard cricketer but he is a a good captain.

Does anyone know if Mitch Marsh is now able to bowl?

Confusing comment - he's been international standard in short form cricket for around 10 years, take a look at his record.

                  132 ODIs averaging 42 @ 88 strike rate
                  78 T20Is averaging 37 @ 150 strike rate

                  Jury still out?

I would be interested to see his stats over the past 12-24 months. I think his recent form (2020) was down.

It's more around the last 2 years for the limited over cricket and the fact that he hasn't done much at the Shield and Test level.
                      I rate his captaincy though.

Form wasn't mentioned and I don't think anyone would suggest he is international standard at test level. To simply say he isn't international standard is bollocks.

Two very good games last night.

West Indies beat Bangladesh who were in it right up to the end and Pakistan were made to work for it against Afghanistan winning with just one over to spare.

Australia got thrashed by England last night and had no answers on how to play them.
