I don't think the wicket is as tough as it looks. There wasn't heaps of movement from the quicks. Lyon managed to find some surprising turn for a day 1 Gabba wicket.

What struck me as a bit odd on the commentary today was the gushing over England's record across the 21-23 test ranking period. They're 8W,. 8L and 5D.

Not sure if I heard it incorrectly, but I didn't think the qualifier of it being since Bazball or whatever it is was made. Did anyone else find it strange? I think it was Matt Hayden.
