6 English sides in the champions league next season after spurs and united made the Europa final.
Quite a bit on the line in that match. Both teams having a chance at champions league after finishing near the bottom of the table is something else. Ange might also be fighting for his job. Should be spicy.👍 2Comment

Not having the third placed seeds from the CL falling into Europa certainly weakened it, however any cup win is a great achievement so well done to Ange! Doubt it's enough to save him though, 20+ prem losses is abysmal with the money they spend on players. They haven't even reached the old 40 point safety mark so another season may have seen them relegated.BT COME BACK!

I hate to say i told you so but i did , i had a feeling Spurs would win the europe league , and they did .
Congrats to Ange , who said he would win silver wear during his tenure , and to a club who have been allergic to silver wear , Ange kept his word.
Man u have now endured their worst season in living memory.
Chef you were being kind saying , "One of the worst finals you could watch " .
That was by far the WORST final iv watched in my living memory .
With Spurs weakened by the absence of Maddison , Kulusevski and Lucas Bergvall , arguably their 3 most creative outlets , this left a glaring gap at the heart of their attacking setup.
Postecoglou's usual 4-3-3 system relies heavily on a no 10 capable of linking play ,unlocking defences and maintaining tempo .
These absences gave Man U the opportunity to exploit Spurs , but they fluffed their lines .
Amorim's starting line up was also puzzling , leaving Garnacho on the bench and starting Mason Mount , who was no more then a training cone in the 1st half .
Amorim waited and waited until it was to late to bring Garnacho on ,because when he finally did in the 70th odd min , Man U were in the driving seat, but time ran out for them .
Man U nearly equalised late in time on when Shaw's header was cleared off the line by a desperate Van De Ven .
Whats next for Man U ? .
They dont have Champions league football next year now .
Thats a 80 million pound hole in their budget .
They are broke .
They are still paying transfere fees for players they bought last year , and to top it off are paying 30 million pounds a year in interest loans .
Owners who refuse to pour money into the club and refuse to sell .
So all in all not a very rosy future for the once most feared football club in the land and the envy of the footballing world .👍 2Comment

Very disappointed Man Utd supporter waking up to that this morning. Just watched the highlights. We had our chances but didn't take them. We are at our lowest right now and it seems such a long time ago when we were the envy of the world with the success.
Well done to Spurs on winning there first major trophy in some time last one for them 2008. Congrats to Ange on a massive achievement."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"👍 1Comment

1) I'm happy for Ange. It is great for him. Fantastic.
2) It was good to see the "farmer league" play for a minor European title while the two heavyweight comps play off for the only European trophy that matters next week. Ha.
3) Someone gave me this analogy of big EPL teams playing in the Europa. It is like taking a Ferrari to a Toyota Cup race and getting excted that you won. The EPL have the largest and biggest wages in Europe. They should be fighting for the Champions League, not the Europa. This applies mainly to Manchester United, but also to Tottenham.👍 1Comment
