If this isnt sending a message to the selectors about playing young players , what is?

I'd have thought he'd be a better limited overs bowler because the actually plays in the one days for NSW.

And I'd have thought if there's one thing we've learnt this summer it doesn't matter whether or not he gets a gig for the blues.

Man of the Match in your first match. Can't ask for more. The selectors should be adding him into the squad tonight.

Wouldn't you think it's an indicator of what he's best at?

Warner was good value. Might be worth leaving him out if he gets the opportunity to get some 1st class games though.

Gee whiz, when we said this a few years back, I'm not sure we would have seen a domestic/international run of form like Dave is having. Very impressive to see him apply himself to this level, and here's hoping it continues.

Geez this took more effort than I thought, but since October 2013 Warner has scored 2,545 runs.

Is that in all forms of cricket at all levels D'Marquis?

Yep Ricky. All forms of domestic (900 give or take) & international (the balance).

                      Thanks.

It's a pretty incredible form streak. Capped off by twin centuries in the final test of the summer.

He may be a prat but the guy is pugnacious and damn good. What a run of form against the so called best bowling attack in the word in their own backyard.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Wouldn't it be nice if he matured into somebody that could be competitive on the ground, and dignified off it.

He's such a talented and determined bat, great fun to watch and tough at the same time. Hopefully with high performance he understands there's more to the game than just slogging runs.
                            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Yep. Its an open 'challenge' to anyone to see if there is a comparable streak of 6 months of cricket.
