    Shield Final

Vics have won the toss and are batting:

    0/10

With Hopes & Laughlin opening the bowling you would expect the Vic's to bat for 2 days.

Watched ten or so minutes of it before the lunch break.

Symonds was getting a bit of movement through the air, but the deck looked pretty flat.

Hodges wicket was quite poor. He shouldn't have gotten out to that ball.

Hussey and Rogers both getting the job done.

                  Make that 6/281 - Stumps.

                  Night-watchmen Nannes last man out.

QLD have fought back well. First session is crucial tomorrow.

Very disappointing to lose 4 wickets in the last hour.

With rain predicted tomorrow and showers Sunday, the Vics could have almost put this one to bed.

Vics should get at least another 100 runs especially with 2 century makers in the last game at the crease.
We have a pretty good tail, with Wright still to come, all capable of getting 20-30 or even more.
                      Bring back the biff

A draw means a win, but yes your right. We need to get to at least 400.

That would have to be the biggest pop gun attack ever.Hopes bowled well though,we should still get 400

I was disappointed that Hodge didn't perform better. He just never quite takes chances like this like he should. Hopes, Laughlin, Cutting and Symonds should have been easy enough for him.
