Do yourself a favour and have a look at Cosgrove's stats.

A bloke that fat will never play at Test level in this day and age, and he's never shown any discipline in trying to get himself right.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

If you took him to the sub-continent, he'd collapse walking down the stairs at Mumbai airport.

        No arguement from me.

But based just on batting ability he's better then White.

But I will now. Did Cameron White look scared facing Tait last night?

NB I quite like White, he's a nice guy, a good cricketter, a very good captain, but he isn't Test quality.
          I don't agree.

But you also had him in your eariler list in front of White as a possible number 6 for Australia and it's just never going to happen, regardless of his batting prowess.

I wouldn'ty pick Smith for test selection (yet) either, but I think that Smith will (potentially) be a much better bowler then White. Basically i don't think White can bowl, at all. I'm not sure White does, either. How many overs has he bowled in Shield games this year?
I'm pretty sure that White sees himself as a batsman. He hardly bowls now days. He has bowled 25 overs in four games this year(Sheffield Shield).

They are very similar, then add Whites leadership and fielding and i would have him in front.

*sorry if it's hard to read.

Can't consistently score runs when you're not in the team. He only made 340 runs at 26.15 with a highest score of 76 in 2007/8 and in 2008/9 he played 3 matches. He'd have played about 8 first class matches in Aus since he was dropped in 08 and you think he's above the captain of the Victorian state who is as talented with the bat, more reliable to be fit for matches and a benefit in the field instead of a liability.

There's more to stats then an average and until he can prove he can maintain form for one or two seasons like White has he shouldn't be considered.

                    Anyways

Mark Waugh on inside cricket tonight declared that Mitchell Marsh will be playing for Australia (at one of the levels) within 12 months.

I just hope they make him earn it.

Cameron White has always reminded me a little of Josh Homme
