    Well the Aces lose all 4 to Adelaide and are outscored by a total of 37-10. I think inauspicious would be an understatement. Possibly need to work on their pitching.

            I didn't want to come across too know it all seeing as I've only seen half an inning on incredibly poor quality web cast but there seems to be an issue there.

                                                Out of curiosity do they still use the White Elephant at Altona or has it become another AFL Park ?

                                                    I remember I watched the World Series in 2008 which was right in the study period before my VCE exams. I remember the day before my English exam I was watching the World Series instead of studying and I was really enjoying it. Weird, since then I haven't watched any baseball! It was really fun to watch! I might go down and catch a game. It would be cool if they could show 1 or 2 full games a week on Fox Sports or One HD.

                                                    Also, why aren't they playing at that Laverton stadium? I think I have a friend who plays baseball there. I'm not certain though.

                                                        I think the VBL play at Altona. The stadium was a nightmare for the elements unbearably cold and when hot invaded by mozzies!
                                                        Ventured out tonight for the first time and enjoyed it,although the stadium could do with a decent scoreboard and a stand . I'm sure these issues will be addressed as the comp is in it's infancy. The standard was good on a dodgy outfield,short right field porch with the wind blowing out could lead to big scores and many home runs
                                                        Noted the good paddock Phil Dale's been in

                                                            Is he still playing? He was my favourite player at the Waverley Reds, back in the very early 90s.
