Some late nights ahead for Mantis.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I got put on nightshift 2 weeks too early. Shattered, will have to make sure I reqeust it next year. Will have to try and catch some highlights during the day.

Love watching the tour every year. wonder if it will be Contador and A.Schlek 1 on 1 up the Col de Tourmalet again. That's a hell of a mountain.

Just 2 stages in and already the race is at an interesting position with Contador spotting his fellow GC contenders some 1'40" after his fall in Stage 1 and then a struggle for his team in the TT.

Going to be an interesting race when they hit the mountains because Contador is going to have to be aggressive, but there has to be serious doubts to his ability to gain time on Schleck & co. coming off the brutal Giro tour.

I wonder how the spectator feels after bringing down half the pelaton on Saturday.

Cadel sitting nicely one second off the lead.

I'm sure the little fat kid involved would have been left crying into a cream filled croissant.

Cadel doing nicely, but almost too nicely for my liking considering that in all likelihood and barring an incident he will take over the yellow after stage 4 which will put his team, which isn't all that strong, under more pressure than he would like.

I look forward to this event every year and for the duration of it my eyes will be just about be hanging out of my head staying up to watch it each night. Mountain stages are my favourites.

I hope all goes well for Cadel Evans this year, it would be nice for him to win the TDF after coming close a couple of times.

Great to see Cadel get his first official stage win in the tour last night.

Grabbed a little bit of time off Andy too which might be needed when the mountains arrive.

Nice to see Thor hold onto the yellow which will make the job for Cadel's team just a little easier for the time being.

Is that to take the pressure off?

It's expected amongst the peleton that the team of the yellow jersey should do most of the hard work to chase down breakaway's, set the pace, etc..

Cadel's team isn't one of the stronger ones in the field and it's thought that if they are required to do more of the 'donkey work' in defending the yellow early on they may expend too much energy and be left without the gas needed when they hit the Alps in week 3.

In saying that BMC look good so far and Hincapie (Cadel's team-mate) did a very good job busting the peleton apart late in last nights stage.

Good first 3 days for Cadel, 1 second behind in the GC, wearing polkadots tonight, and 2 points behind in second in the sprinters category. Not sure he'll feature too prominently tonight, but hopefully he won't lose any time.

You need a set top box, only cost around $50 and you get all the HD channels as well.
