    .
I saw it from 22 yards away and it was awesome.

I recall he smashed Lillie straight over mid-off one bounce over the fence at the Members End.

His partner, Desi Haynes watching it go over mid-off cried, "Faaaaaaarrrrrrrk!

    Fair shot that!

In that same game, Greg Chappell brings on Border from the Southhern End (probably for comic relief) and Richards smashes him straight over his head, miles in the air. I'm at square leg and see it go over Southern Stand height and I thought out of the ground.

In fact it came down into the crowd but I had started moving toward the Members to get a replacement ball.

Needing to go past Chappell at first slip, he enquires, "Where are you going, " to which I reply, "to get a new pill."

He says, pointing to Border at the top of his run-up, "What's wrong with that one?'

Talk about looking like a dill.

Ok EJ, for those of us who don't know you, who are you?

I loved watching the Windies in the 70's/80s, they were an incredible team.

EJ is an ex international cricket umpire who I've had the peasure of catching up with in person and talking cricket. One of the most interesting and illuminating discussions on the topic I've ever had.

That's the best in joke I've ever seen on the 'net. Take a bow TCD.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.

I can second that EJ is a most generous person even though we haven't had the pleasure of physically meeting.

We all know that he is, of course, Dennis Lillee.

He is not. He's Dennis Lillee's aluminium bat.

I worked feverishly behind the scenes trying to get the Aluminium bat legal. Every nick sounded like 1 o'clock in the City Square

                      Might never have retired
