Nothing, it's just not something you wouldn't associate with the atypical Aussie cricketer, each to there own I suppose.

I myself are going to a wine tasting night this Saturday, should be a hoot... Would you like me to pick you up a nice Shiraz or are you more a Sauvignon Blanc man??

Enjoy your tasting. I like whites and reds, but not a big sauvignon blanc man. Have many Clare and Eden Valley rieslings in my cellar, also fond of mature Hunter semillons.

I used to teach winetasting and I have a pretty good tips/instant expert doco which I'm happy to email you so that you be an expert on the night. PM me your email address if you'd like it.

All very good. And the answer to the Grange question is...
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

The last wine tour I went on ended with one of my good friends leaving in a paddy wagon. Always good times.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

They ripped off the name of a French wine place (reknowned for shiraz) called Hermitage and added "Grange".

Some years ago I had quite a few Granges from the 60s, 70s and early 80s. Overrated and hideously overpriced these days. A good frog Hermitage or Cote Rotie is much better IMO.
